Grow Your Own Christmas Tree Seed Packs
Hi lovely people! I’ve been working on something super special lately and I’m really excited to share it with you.
Drumroll please…
“Grow Your Own Christmas Tree” seed packs have arrived in my shop! After much research, planning and drawing I am very happy to show you my new product which comes in a few variations. I decided to choose three different varieties of seeds and offer two different types of packaging (hessian pouch and a butterfly fastening gift envelope).
What’s Inside?
Each pack has 5 little seeds (Nordmann Fir, Norway Spruce, or Colorado Blue Spruce) that you can grow into your very own Christmas tree. It also comes with instructions on how to grow them. I print the instructions on a slightly speckled paper which has a good weight to it.
- Nordmann Fir: Soft needles, slower to grow than a Norway Spruce.
- Norway Spruce: Sharper needles than the Nordmann Fir, grows a bit faster if you’re impatient!
- Colorado Blue Spruce: Has gorgeous blue-green needles and grows at a nice in-between pace.
Seeds are tiny (except the Nordmann Fir seeds which are quite big) so packaging them up in this way makes them feel really special.
How Does It Work?
It’s very easy. Each pack comes with a set of simple instructions to get your tree started. Whether you’re planting it indoors or outside, it’s a fun little project. Every year you can bring it indoors in its pot and see how much it has grown each Christmas. I include 5 seeds per packet – it is possible that not all seeds will grow (and unless you want 5 trees you’d better be hoping they don’t) but out of five seeds you have a good chance of having your own home grown Christmas tree.
Why It’s a Great Gift
These make great little stocking fillers, teacher gifts, or even a fun favour for a winter wedding. They’re not just your usual gift—they’re something different, meaningful, and perfect for someone who loves nature, sustainability, or just something a bit quirky.
Handmade with Love
I designed the labels and I hand-pack every seed pack myself in my little home art studio in Cheltenham. They are assembled with care and attention to detail, so you’re getting a truly personal product.
You can buy them on my website, my Etsy, or just drop me a message if you’re curious about wholesale orders (small batches are fine) or want more than what is listed. I’m always happy to make more.
